I have always maintained that what we do today affects our tomorrows and believe strongly that proper nutrition, movement, exercise, stress management and relationship building is crucial to health and wellness.
As a young woman I began teaching dance and fitness and loved it because my students(and I) always had so much fun! I also realized how important it is to be able to move with ease and grace through good posture and movement patterns, reducing the risk of injury.
I did leave the dance world for 14 years to develop my business skills leading to an opportunity in 2002 to join the fitness industry and become a personal trainer. The human body is fascinating and I love learning about it every day.
The next logical step was to take a 500 hr Yoga teacher training and voilà , the concept for Jasmine Rose Yoga (my 1st and 2nd names) was born! I am also certified to lead SUP (Stand-Up Paddle) Yoga and Yoga Tune Up®.
